This week, the “Thun Britain”, hull number FS462, was successfully transferred to the shipowner by Shipyard Ferus Smit Leer following a successful sea trial from the Eemshaven.
On Friday 28 January 2022, the “Arklow Cloud” FS430 was delivered from Eemshaven by Ferus Smit Shipyard in Westerbroek following a successful sea trial.
The “Thun Empower”, hull number FS452, was successfully transferred to the shipowner by Shipyard Ferus Smit Leer following a successful sea trial from the Eemshaven. Eekels designed and supplied the complete electrical installation for this latest ship from the series of four new oil/chemical tankers to be built for Swedish shipowner Erik Thun AB.
On Friday 15 October 2021, the Arklow Clipper FS429 was delivered from Eemshaven by Ferus Smit Shipyard in Westerbroek following a successful trial run.
On 4 October, Eekels handed over the first of an initial five e-CO2tainers to TBI company Mobilis.
Eekels will be present at Europort 2021 from 2 to 5 November in Rotterdam Ahoy.
