Commissioning Engineer Marine & Offshore
Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a commissioning engineer Marine & Offshore for the Kolham location. As a commissioning engineer, you are responsible for testing and commissioning a wide range of technical installations and you report directly to the service manager and/or project manager.
What is expected of you?
- Commissioning and testing of complex electrical installations in the maritime industry;
- Keeping track of revisions and performing any additional registration tasks;
- Implement technical changes in consultation with project manager;
- Communicating clearly and in a timely manner with the project manager, external client and any inspection bodies during acceptance of systems;
- Participate in the consignment services schedule.
Environment
The business unit Marine & Offshore supplies worldwide electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications. Complete installations are custom designed and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. In addition, complete installations are shipped as a ready-made construction kit to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services to the shipbuilding industry consist of: advice, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel building, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- A completed secondary education (mbo) at level 4 in Electronics/Energy Technology;
- Work experience with commissioning within the maritime sector;
- Technical insight and organizational skills;
- Flexible, customer-oriented and a proactive approach;
- Communicative skills and cooperation come naturally to you;
- A good command of Dutch and English.
