Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a Lead Engineer Lighting (location Zaandam) for business unit eXperience. As Lead Engineer Lighting you are responsible for the design of the lighting systems of one or more (international) projects and you lead engineers.
What is expected of you?
- Responsibility for the translation of the architect drawing into a proposal design, which is translated into cable lists and connection drawings;
- Participate in engineering: you create work packages for the engineers and check them for completeness and quality;
- Strong technical focus and cost driven attitude to achieve project objectives;
- Drawing up schedules and task-oriented management of the engineers in the project team;
- Providing input for the project forecasts and substantiating these with sound reasoning to the project manager and management;
- Monitoring the project planning and ensuring clear communication with the project team and our clients;
- Working according to procedures and guidelines for project-based work, taking initiatives that lead to optimization of the (design) processes.

The business unit Marpower eXperience delivers innovative and progressive Lighting, Audio, Video, IT & Communication systems for the luxury yacht industry. Marpower eXperience has delivered its systems on yachts ranging in length from 50 meters to over 100 meters, making it one of the technological leaders in this industry.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- Higher vocational level (hbo - bachelor) in Electrical Engineering;
- Knowledge of project management methods is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of MS Project and MS Office;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
- Several years of experience in a similar position.
