Function

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Lead Software Engineer for the Kolham location. As Lead Software Engineer you are responsible for the technical implementation of the project. Together with the project leader you determine the strategy for achieving the planned project results.

What is expected of you?

  • Responsible for the technical implementation of the project and, together with the project manager, determine the strategy for achieving the planned project results;
  • Anticipate activities that deviate from the project planning and inform the project manager about project progress during project execution;
  • Responsible for leading the team of Software Engineers during a project, based on technical, time and budget responsibility;
  • Designing, implementing and testing software applications, both 'in-house' and on-site;
  • Drafting specifications and creating user manuals based on the agreed contract;
  • Calculating engineering activities in the quotation phase and in the event of additional and/or reduced work;
  • Representing Eekels to the customer, being the point of contact for the technical aspects and contributing to an excellent relationship with the customer.
  • Initiating improvement proposals (product improvement, process improvement) that lead to a strengthening of Eekels' competitive position.


Environment

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit is active in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment with electrotechnical solutions. The business unit provides the entire process from advice, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel building, implementation, testing & inspection to maintenance. The business unit has specific expertise in the field of process automation, medium voltage and predictive maintenance. Offering the most suitable solutions for the customer (both in terms of technology and price) is essential here.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

  • A completed HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or Industrial Automation;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLC/SCADA control systems in industrial applications;
  • Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell and ABB;
  • Experience with both the technical content and the guidance of employees;
  • Creative and solution-oriented;
  • Good teamwork and communication skills;
  • Proactive colleague with good analytical skills;
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
