Function

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for its Emmen and/or Delfzijl locations. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll install new systems or modify existing ones for our clients. Your duties will also include maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical installations and systems.

What is expected of you?

  • Installing new systems or making adjustments to existing systems at our customers' premises;
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical installations or systems of various kinds;
  • Prepare your work independently and systematically;
  • Ensure adequate communication with clients and colleagues about (the progress of) your work;
  • Work according to internal procedures, including the associated registration.



Environment

The Mechanical department is part of the Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit and is a key player in mechanical service and maintenance, projects, and specialized equipment manufacturing. The department handles the entire process from new construction, modifications, installation, overhaul, repair, and service & maintenance. The market segments served by the Mechanical department include the process industry, (petro)chemical industry, and the energy sector.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

  • Completed vocational education (mbo) in Mechanical Engineering at level 4 or you are willing to achieve this through training;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
  • Working safely and healthily is important to you;
  • Proactive approach and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team;
  • Good command of the Dutch language.
