Function
Eekels | TBI is looking for a Project Manager Industry & Infrastructure for the Kolham or Emmen location. As a Project Manager Industry & Infrastructure, you have a strong commercial focus and use your technical background to realize project objectives.
What is expected of you?
- Strong commercial focus and using your technical background to achieve project objectives;
- Drawing up working budgets and target budgets for the project team;
- Making project forecasts and being able to justify these to management with sound substantiation;
- Monitoring the scope and project planning. In doing so, you ensure clear communication with our clients;
- Organizing the work/circumstances in such a way that the work is carried out safely with the aim of 0 accidents resulting in absenteeism;
- Directly and indirectly manage all involved project employees in a stimulating and motivating manner.
Environment
The Industry & Infrastructure business unit is active in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment with electrotechnical solutions. The business unit provides the entire process from advice, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel building, implementation, testing & inspection to maintenance. The business unit has specific expertise in the field of process automation, medium voltage and predictive maintenance. Offering the most suitable solutions for the customer (both in terms of technology and price) is essential here.
The Mechanical department is part of the Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit and is an important player in the field of mechanical service and maintenance activities, projects and specialized equipment construction. The department takes care of the entire process of new construction, modifications, assembly, revision, repair and service & maintenance. The market areas that the Mechanical department focuses on include the process industry, (petro)chemical industry, as well as the energy sector.
Experience
Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- Completed higher professional education (hbo), preferably in (Technical) Business Administration;
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
- Knowledge of project management methods Prince2 or IPMA B. This is an advantage;
- Knowledge of contract management;
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects. This is a plus;
- Commercial attitude, good communication skills and decisive;
- Structural thinker and good analytical skills;
- Working according to procedures and guidelines for project work, takes initiatives that lead to optimization of the (primary) processes and optimal use and deployment of the (operational) system;
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
