Project Manager Industry & Infrastructure

Eekels | TBI is seeking an Industry & Infrastructure Project Manager for its Kolham and Emmen locations. As an Industry & Infrastructure Project Manager, you will have a strong commercial focus and leverage your technical background to achieve project objectives.

What is expected of you?

• Strong commercial focus and using your technical background to achieve project objectives;
• Drawing up working estimates and target budgets for the project team;
• Making project forecasts and being able to justify these to management with sound reasoning;
• Monitoring the scope and project planning. This includes ensuring clear communication with our clients.
• Organizing the work/conditions in such a way that the work is carried out safely with the aim of 0 accidents resulting in absenteeism;
• Directly and indirectly manage all involved project employees in a stimulating and motivating manner.

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit provides electrical solutions, among other things, in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment. The unit manages the entire process, from consulting, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel building, implementation, testing & inspection, and maintenance. The unit possesses specific expertise in process automation, medium voltage, and predictive maintenance. Offering the most suitable solutions for the customer (in terms of both technology and price) is essential in this regard.

The Mechanical department is part of the Industry & Infrastructure business unit and is a key player in mechanical service and maintenance, projects, and specialized equipment manufacturing. The department handles the entire process from new construction, modifications, installation, overhaul, repair, and service & maintenance. The market segments served by the Mechanical department include the process industry, (petro)chemical industry, and the energy sector.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed higher professional education (bachelor), preferably in (Technical) Business Administration;
• Completed higher professional education, preferably in (Technical) Business Administration;
• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
• Knowledge of project management methods Prince2 or IPMA B. This is an advantage;
• Knowledge of contract management;
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects is a plus;
• Commercial attitude, good communication skills and decisive;
• Structural thinker and good analytical skills;
• Working according to procedures and guidelines for project-based work, taking initiatives that lead to optimization of the (primary) processes and optimal use and deployment of the (operational) system;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
