Purchaser

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Purchaser for the Business Support unit in Kolham. As a Purchaser, you will be part of the Purchasing department team, which works across the branches in Kolham, Emmen and Zaandam. In this role, you will be responsible for performing purchasing activities within the set frameworks and conditions for our various business units. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the purchasing processes run as optimally as possible.

What is expected of you? 

• Realizing and optimizing (framework) contracts;
• Transferring (contract) risks for Eekels in the supply chain;
• Initiating and realizing process improvements in the purchasing process, in consultation with the Purchasing Manager;
• Making price agreements within frameworks with (potential) suppliers based on your knowledge of the market, materials and price developments;
• Making use of the economies of scale that the TBI organization offers;
• Contributing to good and effective communication from the department to suppliers, relations, internal business units and departments;
• Being the link between the work planners of the various business units and the Purchasing department;
• Drawing up manuals, process descriptions and instructions for purchasing within the organization;
• Being responsible for managing and optimizing the article file;
• Reporting to the Purchasing Manager.

The Business Support unit consists of the departments ICT, HR, Business Improvement, Controlling, Finance & Administration and Purchasing. They support the Eekels organization in various areas. The Purchasing department ensures that the required (technical) goods and services are purchased on time and under optimal conditions.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed bachelor (hbo) education in the field of (Technical) Business Administration or similar;
• Work experience in a similar position is a plus;
• Knowledge of process optimization and automation;
• Experience with Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Visio;
• Experience with Power BI;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Proactive and curious;
• Planned, accurate, honest and analytical;
• Good communication skills and working independently as well as together is a given for you;A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. Mastery of the German language is a plus;
