Service Technician Systems

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Service Technician Systems for the Kolham location. As a Service Technician Systems, you deliver new installations and products and make them operational for the customer. You also perform periodic inspections and provide service to customers with defective or non-functioning systems.

What is expected of you?

• Delivering new installations and products and making them ready for use for the customer;
• Providing service and advice to customers with defective or non-functioning systems;
• Knowledge of and affinity with automation systems from Siemens, among others;
• Familiar with drive systems and the parameterization of these systems;
• Carrying out periodic inspections at customers;
• Responsible for revision and repair of products;
• Providing product related training to service partners;
• Preparing project activities including documentation, diagrams and design;
• Writing reports after each visit; for the customer and for internal purposes;
• Participate in the consignment (six-weekly cycle).

The Business Unit Systems operates under the brand name Marpower. Marpower is a leader in the field of power converters and automation solutions for the maritime and offshore market. Within the Power Systems cluster, high-quality power electronics systems are developed, produced and supplied for energy storage, drives, DC distribution, grid conversion and shore power connections. These systems are fully automated by the Marpower Automation platform for, among other things, power and energy management.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Secondary education (mbo+) or bachelor (hbo) level with an electrical or automation background;
• Analytical and able to analyze and understand systems unknown to you;
• Able to work well under pressure, independent and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our systems to the customer;
• Knowledge of power electronics;
• PLC technical hardware and software knowledge is an advantage;
• Some knowledge of drive systems and engines;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
• Willingness to travel occasionally (internationally).
