Solution Consultant AV

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Solution Consultant AV (location Zaandam) for the business unit eXperience. As Solution Consultant AV you are responsible for the vision of our company with regard to Audio Visual systems. You know what the market offers and make the best choices for our specific applications. You dictate the design of the Audio and Video system on board superyachts. You develop AV solutions based on the needs of the customer, trends and the solutions of the company

What is expected of you?

• Provide advice on AV systems during the sales and implementation phase based on project data and collected information and determine the chosen solutions together with the sales team;
• Working on the design of the technical standardization of AV solutions and maintaining standardized (detail) designs;
• Proactively communicate about the technical designs with the assigned Lead Engineers/Project Managers;
• Report deviations regarding planning, costs and quality;
• Maintain sound document management regarding your activities;
• Being an authority in video and audio technology, you are familiar with Crestron NVX, QSC, IPTV and other AV network distribution systems;
• Knowing the technical requirements that AV systems place on an IT system and knowing the correct protocols that IT staff must implement on the IP network;
• Setting up and managing innovation projects and rolling them out in the company;
• Regularly visit technology fairs to stay informed about your specialism;
• Giving lectures on Audio Video to professionals, customers and interested parties;
• Provide training on various technical solutions to our technicians;
• In this role you will report to the Technical Manager.

The business unit Marpower eXperience delivers innovative and progressive Lighting, Audio, Video, IT & Communication systems for the luxury yacht industry. Marpower eXperience has delivered its systems on yachts ranging in length from 50 meters to over 100 meters, making it one of the technological leaders in this industry.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• You have a higher professional education (hbo) work and intellectual with a relevant technical education;
• Knowledge of audiovisual technology;
• Several years of relevant work experience in the AV industry with large AV projects;
• Working under pressure and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our AV systems at the customer;
• A good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
